Did you know there's a club that offers day hikes all over Maryland?-- twice a week, every week! The Maryland Mountain Club has been around since 1934 and offers a great way to get out, exercise, and meet wonderful new people in your area. This is especially helpful if you've just bought a house and want to connect with others, have conversations and really get to know Maryland.

And if you'd like to know more about the Maryland Mountain Club, go to their website and look through some of the hikes in your area. Membership is only $20 a year and they offer so much. I'm actually aiming to go on an overnight hike sometime in 2025...at 62! I have a lot of work to do. I may get an email from Netflix (and my couch) asking where the heck I've been!
